Benjamin6 Quimby (Samuel5, David4, John3, Robert2), born February 24, 1763 at Hawke (Danville), New Hampshire, died March 27, 1840 at Greene, Maine, married July 18, 1787 at Kingston, New Hampshire to Mary CRITCHETT, daughter of Edward and Abigail (Gordon) CRITCHETT. Benjamin served in the Revolutionary War and removed to Greene, Maine after the War.

David7 Quimby (Benjamin6, Samuel5, David4, John3, Robert2), born June 2, 1788.


Benjamin7 Quimby (Benjamin6, Samuel5, David4, John3, Robert2), born May 13, 1793, married Charlotte SPRAGUE, daughter of William and Anna (Morrow)  SPRAGUE. He served under Capt. Sprague, Col. Sweet's Regiment in the War of 1812  (see Military Documents & Roster). Lived in Green all of his life, died between 1860 and 1870.

Colonel John7 Quimby (Benjamin6, Samuel5, David4, John3, Robert2), born August 16, 1795, married Mary "Polly" SHAW, daughter of Zebedee and Mary (Rackley) SHAW.  He served under Capt. Sprague, Col. Sweet's Regiment in the War of 1812 (see Military Documents & Roster).  Lived in Greene all of his life, died between 1860 and 1870.

Samuel7 Quimby (Benjamin6, Samuel5, David4, John3, Robert2), born June 29, 1797, married December 1, 1820 at Greene, Maine to Lydia KEENE, daughter of Eleazer and Rhoda KEENE. Living in Greene in 1840 if he is the other adult male living in the household of his brother John. Living 1850  in Milford, Worcester, Massachussets, by 1860 in Bristol, Lincoln, Maine with wife Lydia, and son Sullivan Quimby and his family are in Newcastle, Lincoln, Maine. Lydia has a double entury for this census as she is also enumerated in Greene within the household of Andrew & Lucy HARRIS. Samuel died January 29, 1867 at Milford, Worcester, Mass.,
