Albigence Pierce8 Quimby (Daniel7, Daniel6, Tristram5, Jeremiah4, John3, Robert2), born May 31, 1820, Coos, New Hampshire, married Harriet SWAN. Albigence removed to Maine and was a candy manufacturer in Biddeford.

Children:

I. Ora. L.9 Quimby, born 1862 [daughter].



Daniel8 Quimby (Daniel7, Daniel6, Tristram5, Jeremiah4, John3, Robert2), born about 1823, Bath, New Hampshire, married Sarah CARBEE, in 1851 and he died in 1862. In 1850 Daniel is found in Waterford, Caledonia, Vermont, listed as Carriage Maker,  living with John D. Miller and family, by 1860 he is living in Littleton, Grafton county, New Hampshire with wife Sarah and son John H. C. Quimby. In 1870 Sarah is living in Littleton in the household of Augustus BURTON and family, while John H. C. is living in Bath with Henry CARBEE and family. By 1880 Sarah is in Bath, living in the household of Henry CARBEE and family while John is living in Lancaster, Coos county, New Hampshire. It appears John is living in Boston by 1900 with wife Cora and son Arthur D. Quimby. (**see entry under Salma Davis7 Quimby all my notes indicate these are a double entry for same person
