Aaron (Warren) KING, born in England emigrated to the U. S. with brother William and Mary KING. Aaron settled in Terrebonne parish, Louisiana, his brother William settled nearby and Mary remained in New York. It is said that Aaron wandered quite a bit and had families prior to his marriage to Eloise BERGERON who was born 1794 in Donaldsville and died 1870 in Houma, being the daughter of Jean Charles & Victoire Marie (Benoit) BERGERON.

Aaron KING is enumerated in the 1830 census of Terrebonne parish; Richard KING and William KING are noted in the Land Conveyences of Terrebonne parish 1822-1837, a William KING is listed also “of Claiborne county, Mississippi“. One George KING is noted as parish Judge.

Aaron KING, married Eloise BERGERON around 1825 in Thibodaux, Louisiana, this being her 3rd marriage [1st marriage was to Mr. SILVENIUS, 2nd to Thomas RHODES, 3rd to Aaron KING and 4th to Jean BESSIE.

Jean Thomas Crafter KING, born 1825, married first, about 1855, Marie Celeste PICHAUFF (Mrs. Joseph LABIT), who died in 1864, he then married second Sarah Victoire ROBERTSON, dau of Andrew “Andre” & Celina E. (Crochet) ROBERTSON [Celina married 2nd Jean Pierre CHIASSON, son of Joseph & Pauline (Guidry) CHIASSON]. Thomas  had the following children:

George Henry KING, born 1832, married Marie “Mary” Louise LABIT, dau of Henry S. & Aureline (Ledet) LABIT, March 24, 1856, , at Terrebonne Parish,  Mary died August 11, 1862 at Terrebonne, Parish. George and Mary and had the following children:
