Revolutionary Warrants
No. 662: Heirs of Eleazor Quinby or Guimby, private; 274 acres; 21 Feb 1821. Bertie Co., N. C., Williams Evans made oath that he was personally acquainted with Eleazer Quinby and that he died leaving no wife nor children, but had one brother by the name of Jesse who died having one son by the name of William Quimby who is the heir of the aforesaid Elezer Quinby, a soldier in the 10th Regt. of the N. C. Line. Hertford Co., N. C., 1821: William Quimby made oath that he was the heir at law of Eleazer Quinby, late a private in Capt. Shepards Co. in the 10th N. C. Regt., and appointed James Turner his attorney for the sale of the warrant.
