THOMAS3 [ROBERT2], born Feb. 8, 1665 at Salisbury, Mass, was not known
to have married or have children, nor was his brother Phillip3. Thomas3
and Philip3 were living in 1700 and records indicate that Thomas
died before 1722, no notation when Philip was to have died. Also see
notation that it was suggested to HCQ that Thomas3 or Phillip3 may have
gone to Connecticut, but was discounted at the time. See the following,
which suggests that Thomas3 [and Philip3] may well have had children.

Philip3 Quinby, son of Robert and Elizabeth (Osgood) Quimby, born March
1, 1672-3 at Amesbury, was living in 1700, died October 28, 1723
reported from Groton, New London, Connecticut, not known to have
married, however he was ordered by the Court to pay a fine and to pay
maintenance for a child he had by Temperence MUDGETT, said child born
July 27, 1695, name of child is unknown. Same Temperence MUDGETT is
half sister of Rachel MORRILL who had several children out of
wedlock with 13. Joseph Quimby, see his entry. Temperence MUDGETT was
also given the youngest child of John3 Quimby [child was Jethro Quimby]
to raise after the death of his mother, which was Mary MUDGETT-QUIMBY,
sister of Temperence.
