147. Ephraim6 Quimby (Jeremiah5,
Jeremiah4, John3. Robert2), born September 28, 1773 at Hawke, New
Hampshire. Married, November 18, 1785 at New Chester, Grafton, New
Hampshire to Hannah WELLS, daughter of Henry and Sarah (Colby) WELLS, states one record, while another record indicates her parents were Reuben and Molly WELLS, the later is most likely more accurate of the two. Ephraim6 was enumerated by 1800 in New Chester, later called Hill,
Grafton, New Hamsphire were he lived out his life. Hannah died July 31, 1856 and Ephraim6 died in
Hill November 13, 1859. Due to a Spotted Fever outbreak, 6 of Ephraim's
children died and were buried between 2 graves.

Reuben W.7 Quimby (Ephraim6,
Jeremiah5, Jeremiah4, John3, Robert2), born February 22, 1818 at Hill,
New Hamphire, married first Bethana unknown (possibly HEATH), who died in 1853, aged 40, and he married second to Sarah A. COLBY, May 21, 1854 at Hill. In 1850 Reuben and his first wife are in Hill, Grafton, New Hampshire with his parents.
In 1860 Reuben is the head of his own household in Hill, with his
father in tow. He remains in Hill all of his life, by 1900 he and Sarah
are living in son John H.8 Quimby's household, in Hill.
Reuben W.7 died December 30, 1901, Sarah had died on November the 8th.
