Daniel & Sarah ROWELL living in Hill, the 1860 census shows them living next door to Reuben QUIMBY, Sarah is aged 64, so date of birth is est. 1796, this appears to be the daughter of Ephraim6, and sister of Reuben. Daniel ROWELL was born 1791 in Sutton, New Hampshire, son of Jonathan and Achsah (Flood) ROWELL. Daniel & Sarah were married by 1822-3, or so, as their eldest child, Elvira was born in 1823, and they named their first son Ephraim Q ROWELL.

Peter and Sally (Quimby) SMITH named their first born son Jeremiah, and their first born daughter Olive, this leads me to believe this Sally Quimby was a daughter, of Jeremiah6 and Olive (Saunders) Quimby. Peter removed to Concord, New Hampshire between 1815 and 1820, they are enumerated there by 1820 and remain there. Peter evidently died between 1850 and 1860 as his last enumeration is in 1850 and Sally/Sarah is living with daughter Sarah J. GILE and family in 1860.

Sally Quimby who married Sherburn TILTON is actively being researched at this time. The only other known Sarah/Sally Quimby of like age and same area remaining is the daughter of Henry6 Quimby,  another brother of the above mentioned Ephraim6 and Jeremiah6 Quimby. New data will be posted as we proceed.
