Jethro4 (John3, Robert2)

22. Jethro4  Quimby (John3, Robert2), born (probably christened) November 27, 1710, died after 1739, see York County (Maine) Court Records for evidence he had not died earlier, as reported by HCQ.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Philip3 Quinby, son of Robert and Elizabeth (Osgood) Quimby, born March 1, 1672-3 at Amesbury, was living in 1700, but not known to have married, however he was ordered by the Court to pay a fine and to pay maintenance for a child he had by Temperence MUDGETT, said child born July 27, 1695, name of child is unknown. Same Temperence MUDGETT is aunt of  Rachel MORRILL who had several children out of wedlock with 13. Joseph Quimby, see his entry. Temperence MUDGETT was also given the youngest child of John3 Quimby [child was Jethro Quimby] to raise after the death of his mother, which was Mary (MUDGETT) QUIMBY, sister of Temperence.
